ASML: This year will continue to expand the Chinese team, plans to recruit more than 200 employees
On June 6, the lithography machine giant ASML stated that it will continue to deepen its efforts in the Chinese market. In order to support the growth of its business in China, ASML will continue to expand its Chinese team this year and plans to recruit more than 200 employees.
ASML said that as Shanghai entered the stage of fully restoring normal production and living order on June 1, the company actively supported and responded to the full resumption of work, and was coordinating with relevant departments to steadily advance the work to better serve the development of the industry.
ASML said that at the beginning of this year, there were repeated epidemics in many places across the country, and the company has been doing its best to maintain the stable operation of its business to support customer needs and the development of China's integrated circuit industry. "All projects in China are currently on schedule."
It is understood that when the outbreak occurred at the beginning of this year, ASML established a crisis response team to mobilize cross-departmental resources to find solutions to ensure the orderly operation of the company. In response to the needs of the company's customers, ASML recruited a group of engineer volunteers to work in the closed-loop of the customer's factory to ensure the stable operation of the machine and the continuous production. Among them, Huali and SMIC both have ASML's resident volunteer engineers in service.
